World Book Day

We recently celebrated World Book Day in the school by dressing up as ur favourite character or author from a book. Have a look at the photos in our school gallery.

10 @ 10- Operation Transformation

This year on Operation Transformation they have teamed up with Active School Flag, to promote physical activity in primary schools.

All across the school we all really enjoyed our exercise for 10 minutes

Reading Buddy


The school is currently involved in a Reading Buddy initiative where each child in the senior school is paired with children in the junior school. The aim of the initative is that friendships are formed through a communal love of books.

Rugby Blitz

The 6th Classes rectentlytook part in a tag rugby blitz in Suttonians, alkong with other schools in the locality.

Maths Week 2016


We celebrated Maths week in October.
It was a great success. A great emphasis was placed on having fun through Maths. The junior school participated in Maths Fun Day where games with Maths concepts were enjoyed by all.
The senior school took part in a Maths Quiz. The teams consisted of children from each class level.

"Up the Dubs"


In December Con O'Callaghan presented the Sam Maguire to the school. "Up the Dubs!"

Carol Singing


In December 3rd-6th Class children went carol singing in Sutton Cross in aid of St. Francis Hospice.
4th class sang carols for the children of St. Micheal's House.
3rd and 5th classes sang for the elderly in Averna.

Halloween Fun


At Halloween we all dressed up in some great costumes. There were many terrifying faces to be seen walking the corridors.

Science Week


Science Week brought a real buzz to the school. Experiments were ongoing throughout the week in all classes, where our budding scientists had an opportunity to do lots of investigating and experimenting in a fun and meangingful way.
